Florida Certified Building Contractor
Six Exterior Scopes. One Contractor. One Point of Contact.
Your entire exterior, coordinated by one team.
Your home's exterior is often divided between multiple contractors, each with separate responsibilities and warranties.
When something goes wrong between two trades, it can be difficult to determine who's responsible.
PVIG can handle your complete exterior under one Florida contractor license, giving you one company and one point of contact from start to finish.
From the initial estimate to project completion, we help simplify the process and keep your exterior work coordinated.
What We Do
Six exterior scopes. Choose the complete system or just what you need.
Every scope can be quoted individually. You don't have to purchase the complete package.
Looking for Commercial or Builder Solutions?
PVIG also provides exterior installation services for commercial, multifamily, and builder projects.
Known Issues
Why Exterior Siding Fails Over Time in Our Climate
Exterior siding rarely deteriorates because of a single storm. Florida's heat, UV exposure, humidity, and wind-driven rain continuously affect the same joints, seams, and penetrations. By the time an issue becomes visible on the wall, damage may have already begun behind the siding. Understanding how these conditions affect your home's exterior is the first step toward addressing the underlying issue.
Wind-Driven Rain
Water Doesn't Always Fall Straight Down.
Florida rain can be driven sideways by strong winds, finding its way through siding overlaps, butt joints, and gaps behind fascia. Exterior details designed only to manage gravity-driven water may not perform as intended when rain is pushed sideways by the wind.
Moisture Doesn't Always Dry Completely
Persistent Humidity Can Keep Walls Damp.
In a dry climate, a wall that gets wet may have time to dry between storms. In Florida, high humidity and repeated rainfall can keep exterior assemblies damp for extended periods, allowing moisture-related damage to accumulate.
UV Exposure Attacks the Finish
Florida Sunlight Can Accelerate Weathering.
Intense sunlight can accelerate the deterioration of paint finishes and exposed wood. Fading, chalking, and weathering may appear long before the underlying substrate shows obvious signs of damage.
Rot Starts Where You Can't See It
Visible Damage May Be Only the Beginning.
When exterior trim feels soft to the touch, the material behind it may have been exposed to moisture for an extended period. What looks like a paint problem may actually be a water-management issue. Addressing the visible damage without identifying the source of the moisture may leave the underlying problem unresolved.
Moisture Can Attract Termites
Moisture and Wood Damage Can Create Risk.
Moisture-damaged wood can create conditions that are more favorable to termite activity. Repairing the appearance of the exterior without addressing the source of the moisture may leave the underlying issue unresolved. If termite activity is suspected, a qualified pest-control professional should evaluate the property.
The Bigger Picture
All Five Issues Come Back to One Thing: Water Finding a Way In.
That's why we look at the entire exterior envelope, not just the wall you can see.
Our goal is to help identify the underlying exterior conditions and provide installation solutions that support your home's long-term protection.
The Part You'll Never See Determines What You Do See.
Weather-resistive barrier installation on a Central Florida project, photographed before the siding was installed.
100% Sealed & InspectedHow We Work
The Four Details That Matter
None of these details are visible in a photo of the finished wall. They are determined before the siding goes up, and once the exterior is covered, they can be difficult to inspect without opening it back up.

Properly sealed sheathing seams help create a continuous weather-resistant barrier.

Windows, doors and other penetrations need careful flashing and drainage details to keep moisture out of the wall.

A properly installed weather-resistive barrier helps protect the wall assembly behind the exterior cladding.

Every level and transition must be properly integrated so water has a controlled path away from the structure.
The weather barrier is installed before the exterior cladding covers it, and that's exactly why it matters.
Six Scopes. One Integrated Contractor.
One company for the complete exterior.
Siding, soffit and fascia, seamless gutters, gutter guards, screen enclosures and fencing, coordinated through one contractor. One responsible contractor means fewer handoffs, and no guessing about who to call when something goes wrong.
Installed according to manufacturer requirements.
Every product has its own installation requirements. Incorrect fastening, missing flashing or improper clearances can compromise performance. We install to the manufacturer's requirements.
Give water a clear path out of the wall.
Weather barriers, flashing at penetrations, proper overlaps and material-specific expansion clearances all work together to manage moisture. It's the layer most people never see, and one of the most important parts of a durable exterior.
We handle the permitting process.
Where required, we coordinate permits and applicable requirements with the appropriate jurisdiction. Requirements and timelines vary by county, municipality, project scope and property, and we plan the schedule around them from the start.

Products We Install
We install fiber cement, vinyl, engineered wood and metal siding systems selected according to the wall assembly, exposure, project requirements and applicable HOA guidelines. We don't recommend a product simply because it's the one we install most often.

How the Project Works
From Estimate to Final Walkthrough
Six Scopes. One Integrated Contractor. A clear process from the first conversation through final inspection.
- 01
Tell Us Your ZIP Code & What You're Seeing
Soft trim. An overflowing gutter during a storm. Cracked or damaged siding on a west-facing wall. Photos are helpful, and your ZIP code confirms whether your property is within our service area.
- 02
We Visit Your Property
We inspect the exterior as a complete system, not just the area that prompted your call. Visible damage can sometimes point to an issue elsewhere on the home.
- 03
Written Scope & Material Selection
We review the product, color, profile, and installation requirements for your home and project. You receive the complete scope and pricing in writing before materials are ordered.
- 04
Permits, HOA & Scheduling
Where required, we handle the permit process and submit the documentation required by the applicable jurisdiction. If HOA approval is required, we help identify the applicable requirements and documentation.
- 05
Installation & Final Walkthrough
We keep the work area clean and organized throughout the project. Once our work is complete, we walk the exterior with you and review the finished installation together.

Tell us what you're seeing and where you are located. We'll visit the property, evaluate the exterior, and provide a written scope based on what the project actually requires.
Pricing
What Determines Your Estimate?
We don't publish one-size-fits-all pricing because exterior projects in Florida cannot be accurately priced from an aerial photo. The cost depends on what's on the wall, what's underneath it, the materials selected, and how difficult the areas are to access.
We visit the property and provide the price in writing before materials are ordered.
Siding
Two homes with the same square footage can require completely different scopes of work. Your estimate may be affected by:
- Total wall area and number of stories
- Amount of existing material that must be removed
- Condition of the substrate underneath
- Material and product selected
- Number of windows, doors, corners and other details
- Accessibility of each elevation
- Whether scaffolding or specialized access equipment is required
Soffit & Fascia
- Linear feet of eave
- The height and pitch of the roof
- Whether the fascia board is sound enough to wrap or has to be replaced
- How much ventilation the attic needs
- How the return details and corners are built
Seamless Gutters
- Linear feet
- Whether 6-inch or 7-inch is right for the roof area draining into it
- How many downspouts, and where they can go
- The height of the run
- Whether water gets carried away at grade or into an underground drain
Gutter Guards
- Linear feet
- The profile of the existing gutter
- Roof pitch and access
- Whether the gutter underneath is in condition to keep or is being replaced at the same time
Screen Enclosures
- Footprint and height
- The engineering and permit the county requires for wind load
- The mesh you choose
- Kick plates and door count
We build new structures, engineered and permitted from the ground up.
Fencing
- Linear feet and height
- Material and style
- Number of gates and their hardware
- Terrain, and how much of the run is reachable by equipment
- Whether the fence is serving as a pool barrier, which sets requirements of its own

PVIG serves Florida. We work with homeowners, builders, and commercial clients. Enter your ZIP code through the estimate form and we'll confirm whether your property is within our service area.
How Quickly Will You Get Back to Me?

How Long Does the Work Take?
Project timelines vary based on the scope, property, materials, and site conditions. We'll provide an expected installation timeline before the work begins.
Do I Need to Be Home While You Work?
Not necessarily. Once the scope and access requirements are established, many projects can be completed without you being home.
What We Do & What We Don't
Do I Have to Purchase All Six Scopes?
No. Each scope can be quoted and completed independently. We offer siding, soffit and fascia, seamless gutters, gutter guards, screen enclosures, and fencing. You only purchase the work your property requires.
Do You Clean or Repair Gutters?
Our gutter work focuses on installation and replacement. We do not provide routine gutter cleaning or general gutter maintenance.
Do You Rescreen Existing Enclosures?
No. Our screen enclosure work is focused on new construction and installation rather than rescreening existing enclosures.
Do You Work With Insurance Claims?

Licensing, Permits & the Job Site
Is PVIG Licensed in Florida?
Yes. PVIG Construction LLC: Florida Certified Building Contractor License #CBC1270138. The license is issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and is a public record. Verify our license through myfloridalicense.com.
Do You Handle Permits?
Where permits are required, we coordinate the applicable permitting process with the appropriate jurisdiction. Requirements vary depending on the county, municipality, project scope, and property.
What Happens If You Find Rotten Wood Behind the Old Siding?
Rotten sheathing turns up on a lot of re-side jobs, and there's no honest way to price it before the wall is open. PVIG shows you what was found before touching it, and it gets handled as a documented change to the scope, never as a surprise on the final invoice.
What Do You Leave Behind?
The site gets cleaned down at the end of the job. Old material and debris are PVIG's to remove and haul off, not yours.
Do You Offer a Warranty?
PVIG provides a 1-year labor warranty on our installation. Product and material warranties are provided by the manufacturer, and the applicable manufacturer warranty terms are provided in writing with your contract.
How Can I Pay?
PVIG accepts payment by check, card, or cash. Your price is fixed and clearly outlined in the written scope provided after the property walk.
